Muchos de nosotros nos encanta imprimir nuestras fotografías como antaño, ya que actualmente las tenemos todas en formato digital y suelen disiparse entre la ingente cantidad de imágenes y vídeos. Una buena fotografía debería ser impresa, para poder valorar el trabajo que hay detrás de ella y poder provocar emociones. Sin embargo, a la hora de imprimir nuestras fotos nos podemos encontrar con varios problemas, los pixeles necesarios para cierto tamaño, que no haya márgenes en blanco, los colores pueden variar de como los vemos en el ordenador a como salen impresos… Al final, lo que creemos que no nos va a llevar tiempo, se convierte en una misión imposible.
Lo mejor es que os anotéis algunos de estos consejos antes de imprimir y así evitaremos desastres fotográficos y dolores de cabeza.
Consejos para imprimir fotos
- Preparar la cámara: Prepara tu cámara fotográfica seleccionando algunas opciones tal y como te indicamos a continuación:
- Seleccionar máxima calidad: Para ello intenta seleccionar una resolución de entre 250 y 300 ppp. Si en tu cámara no te aparece la resolución, selecciona la máxima calidad disponible.
- Controlar el color. Los colores que vemos en la pantalla no tienen nada que ver con el resultado impreso ya que el medio no es el mismo. Incluso, puede cambiar de un ordenador a otro, ya que depende de cómo tengamos configurada la pantalla. Para ello existen un tipo de archivos que puedes solicitar en tu empresa, que se llaman «Perfiles ICC». Estos perfiles nos asegurarán que veremos el mismo color en todos los dispositivos. Para utilizarlos, es necesario tener Photoshop o Lightroom.
- Relación de aspecto: Normalmente las fotos tienen una relación de aspecto de 3:2 que es lo más parecido a lo que ve el ojo humano, los marcos para fotos suelen tener también este aspecto. Sin embargo en fotografía digital suelen utilizar más el 4:3 que es una relación más cuadrada. Es importante que lo configuremos correctamente si lo que queremos es imprimirlas.
- Papel fotográfico: Es bueno invertir en un papel fotográfico bueno ya que los resultados pueden variar bastante. Existen diferentes acabados como brillo, semi-brillo o mate. Casi todas las marcas tienen papel fotográfico propio como HP, Epson, Canon… En cuánto a qué marca es mejor, realmente depende de los gustos y preferencias de cada uno, en foros de fotografía podemos ver opiniones muy dispares.
- Tinta: la tinta también es importante, encuentra una tinta de calidad si es que vas a imprimir en casa tus fotografías.
- Calibrar el monitor del ordenador: Existen programas como Adobe Gamma que nos ayudan a calibrar el monitor de forma que no existan grandes diferencias entre lo que se ve y lo que se imprime.
En definitiva, tenemos que tener claros algunos detalles a la hora de imprimir fotografías para poder conseguir los mejores resultados. Con estos consejos puedes animarte este verano a hacerte con un album envidiable.
